Finished remote. I used a 1/8" stereo minijack, connecting the cable wires to tip and barrel. The LED is
connected to an 18" cable with a 1/8" stereo miniplug wired to the end. That way I can plug the LED cable
into the remote for on or close to tripod use, or use 1/8" stereo miniplug extension cables for longer runs.
I have tried it out with a 20' Radio Shack extension cable, and it works great.
